Karma opened on the 28th December 2008.

Although open we are always changing and trying to improve our place as we progress. Building started on the 10th february 2008 and stopped for the rains during the wet season.

The original concept was developed and designed by Stuart and Andrew two friends who met each other in Phnom Penh in 2005 and one day decided to take a road trip down south to Kompong Som commonly known as Sihanoukville and take a look around. An opportunity arose to acquire a plot of land on the most beautiful beach in sihanoukville and construction began.

The whole building process was undertaken by both partners and stuart's brother in law to ensure the place was built with a certain style and standard most times hard to achieve in Cambodia. All our hearts went into the building of our place along with backbreaking days of hot hard work but the final result has been more than worth it and we therefore think that you will enjoy our place as much as we do.

Currently the place is being run by both Andrew and Stuart along with his Cambodian wife Lin and their small 4 year old son Aroun (Aroun is the manager i'm sure).
